This is a message I should have shared to all on Saturday 4th May, 2019, but I failed to do so. I pray we become more aware of the times and be very sensitive and obedience to God when He speaks.
“Many are doing God’s work for themselves and by their own strength.”
“So many Christians are doing many things, good things, but not for God. They’re doing it for themselves and they’re really working at it by their own strength. When they grow tired, with their strength wearing off, they soon loose hope in God. They were never doing those things for God, but the frustration of our unfruitfulness is against God.”
“Like Saul (Apostle Paul), we’re doing everything in the name of God, without God, and without His Spirit and Strength.”
As Christians let us be wary the dangers of trying to please God the wrong way. We can’t buy our way into God’s favor, and we can’t force our way through and demand His approval either.
I ask that we do things as God pleases, as He Wills, allowing Him through the Holy Spirit to work things out in and through us.
It would be sad for us to toil all day for the master to respond to us, thus,
‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:23)
We must understand that, “for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” (Philippians 2:13 – NIV)
He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.1 Thessalonians 5:24 (ESV)
